This Mondarian dress by Llum is so cute. Sorry, ladies, it’s only made for little girls. It’s available from Lollie for $55. Go buy it for your daughter, niece, or any other little girl who isn’t afraid to stand out.

I think this dress goes perfectly with this painting. The colors are almost exact and the purple really connects the outfit to the art. My favorite element of this outfit is the necklace because the points of it really remind me of the tower and buildings in the painting. It’s such a nice link.

This dress could not match Paul Klee’s piece any better. It’s just perfect. Not only are the colors wonderful, but I love the cut. The bracelet also goes really well with the dress & painting. I was especially interested in the yellow moon in the piece, so I added the yellow heels & round, crystal earrings. I love the yellow & purple together! They are complements afterall. The pink purse was the last piece I added. It’s square like the blocks in the painting & is simple enough to not take away from the rest of the look.

I love the colors in this painting & I love the outfit it inspired even more. I wanted to merge the outfits of both figures & I did that by pairing a light pink cardigan with a flashy, blue dress. I love the way they look together. I added the pink headband to link to the flower the figure on the left hand side is carrying. I included the pink shoes to match it. The blue earrings match the dress & the whole outfit is just fabulous. What a great piece of artwork.

I was incredibly excited to work with this piece of art. The colors, patterns & fashion in it are all so fascinating. The first thing I looked for a piece that was similar in style to the figure’s shirt. It took awhile, but eventually I found this dress & knew it was perfect. I then wanted to find something that would go well with the tablecloth. I think these heels from Irregular Choice fit very well. They also add interest to the outfit. I included the blue purse to go with the figure’s skirt & the red earrings to match the shoes. Next, I looked for a white cape to compliment the figure’s. It was also quite a feat to find something I was satisfied with, but the outfit wouldn’t have been complete without it.

I love working with watercolor pieces because there are so many fabrics out there inspired by them. This dress from Alice + Olivia was right on the money. I decided to pair it with yellow accessories such as these heels & earrings. I also added the thin, yellow belt to make the outfit more fun & interesting. I added the deep purple purse to compliment the color of the sky. Lastly, I added this really shiny diamond ring from Malcolm Betts. Love it!

There were so many pieces of this image that I wanted to focus on that it was difficult to decide where I wanted to start. I decided to start with finding a red purse like the bag on the ground & was pleasantly surprised to find this one from Diane Von Furstenberg. It’s similar because of the color & shape, but it also have a tassle like the ones on the bottom of the one if the painting. Next, I found these two necklaces that go so perfectly with the piece. I then looked for a long-sleeved, navy dress & red shoes to match the purse. The ring was the last thing I added & it corresponds with the vase of flowers on the left hand side. It’s a small part of the overall image & outfit, but sometimes those things are what make them special.

This was such a fun piece to work with. I loved taking a country scene & making it into a uptown outfit- complete with a rooster necklace. I love the combination of orange, green & light blue. It’s so bright & fun. The dress was the first item I found & it’s perfect color-wise. The rooster necklace came next. I added the orange shoes & earrings to match the rooster in both the artwork & necklace. I added the nude purse to incorporate the old building & to make the outfit a tad more wearable. Not everyone wants to be as colorful as I do!

This is the kind of outfit that I wear every day. It’s easy. It’s comfortable. It’s pretty. I really love the colors in this painting & I was so excited to find a dress that matched it so well. I added the scarf to not only add interest to the outfit, but also to bring out the beautiful yellow in the piece. I added the brown boots & purse to tie in the boats. The purple earrings are sweet & simple. They make the outfit more feminine, in my opinion.

This artwork was so interesting & I couldn’t wait to work with it. I decided to really stick with a winter theme for this outfit. The first piece I found was the dress. It really matches the one in the piece. I was surprised I could even find one that matches it so well. I layered the vest over it to go with the fur on the elk & to make it more winter appropriate. The purse also matches the elk. The boots go with the vest & I love the way they look with the tights. The earrings are my favorite part of this outfit & they look great with this outfit. I would gladly wear this outfit & I think it coordinates well with the artwork.
