Dress- Edit New York
Shoes- Tobi
Purse- Top Shop
Scarf- Houseoffraser.co.uk
Earrings- Max & Chloe
This is one of the first outfits that I created, but it’s still one of my favorites. I think the dress goes so well with the painting because of both the color & the calm feeling they both seem to have. I love teal & orange together, especially with that pink. My favorite part is the earrings & the connection they have to the leaves in the art.

This outfit is BRIGHT. There’s no way around it. Wouldn’t it be perfect for a tropical vacation or a day trip to the beach? I chose the orange & blue because they’re the main colors in the painting, but I didn’t stop there. I added the bracelet, which also brings the light purple into the outfit. I decided to use gold accessories. The necklace matches the trees in the piece & the gold sandals bring more gold into the outfit & match the necklace. This outfit isn’t for you unless you’re ready to stand out in the crowd, but if you’ve accepted that fact, go for it!

Purse- Shirise
Bracelet- Forever 21
This piece has so many colors & things going on in it that it was hard to find a place to start. I decided to focus on green & leaves, so this dress was a perfect fit. I also couldn’t be more happy with the way the shoes, earrings & bracelet go together. The blue purse really completes the connection to the painting for me though. I really wanted something to connect to the flowers & it did just the trick.

This outfit came about in a different order than many of the others. I actually found the dress first & as soon as I did my mind went to Rothko. The colors are almost identical & the way they blend is quite reminiscent of Orange & Yellow. The next motif I knew I wanted to include was the square, of course. I went a little overboard with that perhaps, but I’d still wear it.

Kiki Smith is one of my favorite working artists. This piece was especially fun to work with. The first piece I found was easy to pick- the wolf ring! Next, I chose the blue skirt & coral top to go with the figure’s outfit. The top is flowy & reminds me of the cape. I love the way those two pieces go together. The shoes are grey to go with the color of the wolf. They also have tassles that remind me of the tie on the cape. They’re beautiful, too. The purse not only matches the grey, but is a basketweave style. It looks like the basket in the hands of the figure. What a perfect match! Lastly, I added the blue earrings. They match the skirt & add that little extra something special. This outfit is work appropriate & feminine. I just love it.

I love the colors that are in this painting. They’re so beautiful, so I wanted to make an outfit that would do them justice. The dress is a perfect fit & I love all of the blues with it. I think the blue earrings connect to the sky very well & the purse reminds me of the brush strokes in the trees. I would love to wear this outfit! Wouldn’t you?

When I found this dress I was so happy. It goes with all of the colors in the nude so well, besides being a beautiful dress, in general. The calla lilly necklace & leave earrings go really well with this painting, for obvious reasons. I think my favorite part may be the shoes though because their resemblance to the basket is more subtle.

This is currently my favorite outfit I’ve created. I can’t believe I could find all of these things that fit with the art so well. The tea cup ring, the newspaper purse & the belt that matches the tablecloth are wonderful little details in both the outfit & the art. I can’t even believe that I could find a dress or shoes that matched the ones she’s wearing. I squealed when I first saw that dress because it’s perfect!

I love Henri Matisse & this piece is one of my favorites. I love all of the bright colors! The goldfish ring was the first thing I found. It’s perfect. Next, I found these sandals from Nine West. The color is dead-on & the straps remind me of the chair in the bottom left. The necklace matches the sandals & also reminds me of a leaves in the painting. I love how bold it is, especially when paired with the simple, pink tank top. The earrings bring out the flowers on the top & bottom of the right hand side. I chose to use khakis rather than denim because it goes with the water in the fish tank. Plus, it makes it seem even more spring-like.

I love this outfit- glitter, gold & bright red! What’s not to love? The dress is a perfect color & design. Plus, if you look hard, you can even find a hidden five in the ribbon detail. This purse from Valentino & the tights bring out the red in the piece & I love the way they look with the dress. I had to use some gold because of the title & aren’t these shoes amazing? The bracelet has a number five on it for obvious reasons & the brooch is perfect design & color wise. What a fun outfit!
