In this outfit, it’s not only socially acceptable, but stylish! The artwork has the most amazing colors & textures. I wanted to do this justice. The brocade dress was just the beginning. I layered it under a navy cardigan. It not only makes it more modern, but brings out the dark background. I wanted to include the purple necklace the figure is wearing. I love this one that I found so much that I included periwinkle pumps, too. These colors look fantastic together, but I doubt I ever would have combined them had I not been inspired by this painting. The navy purse has a great texture since it’s made out of silk. It looks great with the dress. Lastly, I included the earrings that have a similar look at the jewel on her head. Love it!
